Job summary

Connected Logistics is seeking a Mid-Level Cloud Security Engineer to support VA OIS COSE program activities. This role focuses on incident response, PII protection, and DLP-driven remediation across cloud and on-prem environments.

You will coordinate with stakeholders to implement security controls, assess risks, and ensure compliance with information security policies. Experience with cloud security and data protection is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Information Systems, or an Associate's with 2 years experience
• Minimum 5 years in cybersecurity/security engineering/IT or related field
• Ability to translate requirements into implementable security solutions
• Experience evaluating security technologies and integrating controls

Responsibilities

• Perform cybersecurity incident response for PII incidents and data breaches
• Utilize DLP tools to identify improperly stored or transmitted PII
• Coordinate containment, remediation, and validation of corrective actions
• Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams to implement data protection controls
• Document findings and remediation actions for compliance reporting
