Job summary

Connected Logistics is seeking a Mid-Level Security Engineer (Security Automation Engineer) to support the VA OIS COSE program. The role focuses on PII incident response, data loss prevention, and security control implementation, with remote work and occasional on-site support.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in cybersecurity, DoD privacy knowledge, and experience with enterprise DLP solutions, to standardize incident response and remediation workflows across mission partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, IT, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical discipline (or Associate's with 2 extra years).
• Minimum 5 years in cybersecurity, security engineering, or related IT field.
• Experience with PII incident response and data breach management.
• Experience using Data Loss Prevention technologies.
• Knowledge of DoD information security and privacy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end incident response for PII incidents and data breaches.
• Use DLP tools to identify and remediate improperly stored or transmitted PII.
• Quarantine and remediate exposed PII.
• Assess security risks and recommend controls.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to manage remediation activities.
• Ensure compliance with information security and privacy policies.
• Support security automation to improve monitoring and response.
