Job summary

Connected Logistics is seeking a Mid-Level Cloud Security Engineer to protect sensitive data and support incident response across enterprise and cloud environments. The role emphasizes PII data protection, DLP-based identification, and remediation coordination with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience in security engineering or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, IT, Engineering, or related discipline; or an Associate's with extra experience.
• Experience evaluating security technologies and integrating security capabilities into solutions.
• Experience designing, engineering, or implementing cybersecurity solutions.
• Ability to translate requirements into implementable security controls.
• Strong written and verbal communication with engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity incident response for PII incidents and data breaches.
• Utilize DLP tools to identify improperly stored or transmitted PII.
• Investigate exposure of PII at rest and in transit.
• Coordinate quarantine of exposed PII to prevent further access.
• Recommend actions to mitigate risks of unauthorized access to sensitive data.
• Support implementation and validation of security controls for PII protection.
• Engage with system owners and stakeholders to coordinate containment, remediation, and recovery.
• Track remediation efforts and validate effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with information security and privacy policies.
• Assist in assessing security events and data breach scope and remediation.
• Document findings and remediation activities for reporting.
• Collaborate across cloud, infrastructure, and DevSecOps teams to embed protections.
