Job summary

Connected Logistics is seeking a Mid-Level Security Engineer (Security Automation Engineer) to support the VA OIS COSE program. You will act as a SME in cybersecurity operations focusing on PII incident response, data loss prevention, and security control implementation.

The role requires coordinating with stakeholders and mission partners, applying DoD privacy requirements, and contributing to automated security monitoring and remediation efforts. Remote with occasional on-site support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of cybersecurity or security engineering experience.
• Experience supporting PII incident response and data breach management.
• Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools to identify and remediate data.
• Knowledge of DoD information security and privacy requirements.
• Ability to coordinate with stakeholders and mission partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end PII incident response activities and remediation.
• Use DLP tools to identify improperly stored or transmitted PII.
• Quarantine and remediate improperly stored PII data.
• Assess security risks and recommend technical controls.
• Ensure adherence to information security and privacy policies.
