Job summary

Connected Logistics seeks a Senior Security Architect to support the VA OIS COSE program, delivering secure architectures across enterprise apps, platforms, networks, and cloud environments. You will lead architecture reviews, perform threat modeling, and guide risk-based design decisions while collaborating with architects, engineers, and stakeholders.

The role requires deep cybersecurity expertise, strong communication, and the ability to align solutions with security standards and risk

Qualifications

• 10+ years of cybersecurity-related experience.
• Experience designing, evaluating, and implementing security architectures for complex IT environments.
• Ability to communicate security architecture recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity architecture reviews for enterprise systems, applications, infrastructure, cloud services, networks, and technology solutions.
• Develop and document secure solution architectures integrating cybersecurity requirements, controls, and risk mitigation.
• Conduct threat modeling and security design analysis to identify attack paths, threats, vulnerabilities, and risks.
• Evaluate existing architectures, controls, technologies, and protocols to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
• Define security architecture requirements for hardware, software, network, application, data, identity, and cloud platforms.
• Review designs, interfaces, and data flows to identify security concerns and safeguards.
• Develop security architecture artifacts, diagrams, standards, and design guidance.
• Ensure cybersecurity considerations are embedded throughout the system development lifecycle.
