Job summary

Boulevard is looking for a Director of Engineering - Cloud & Reliability to lead our infrastructure transformation and set industry-leading reliability practices. You will shape the cloud strategy and enable scalable APIs and services across our self-care platform.

You will mentor a team of infrastructure and reliability engineers, partnering with Product, Services and Data teams to build robust, self-service infrastructure and ensure security and high availability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cloud infrastructure and platform engineering.
• 5+ years leading infrastructure teams of 5–15 engineers.
• Deep experience with AWS (EKS, RDS, VPC, IAM) and Terraform.
• Experience migrating apps to Kubernetes/EKS and with security/compliance (PCI, HIPAA, SOC 2).

Responsibilities

• Define and execute long-term infrastructure and security strategy.
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of infrastructure and reliability engineers.
• Partner with Product, Services and Data Engineering to provide infra foundations.
• Drive architectural decisions for cloud infra, security systems, and operational practices.
• Establish monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices for high availability.
