Job summary

CentralReach, a leading healthcare software platform for ABA and IDD care, seeks a Principal Platform Engineer to shape the cloud platform and reliability practices that power critical products used by clinicians and educators.

You will lead modernization efforts, define secure, scalable services, and mentor engineers across teams to raise technical standards and improve developer experience. This is a hybrid role with strong collaboration across offices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building and operating mission-critical platforms across DevOps, infrastructure, cloud, or software engineering.
• Principal-level architecture judgment across scalability, reliability, security, observability, and operational excellence.
• Advanced AWS expertise across compute, networking, storage, identity, containers, serverless, messaging, data, and observability services.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical vision for secure, resilient, scalable cloud platform services that improve developer productivity and customer outcomes.
• Lead modernization of legacy infrastructure and guide application developers toward modern, service-based deployments.
• Establish platform reliability practices, including SLOs, observability, operational readiness, incident response, and continuous KPI improvement.
• Raise delivery standards through safer deployments, stronger security controls, robust data protection, and disciplined asset management.
• Improve developer experience by building effective tooling, feedback loops, and self-service capabilities that significantly increase engineering productivity.
• Mentor engineers and influence architecture, standards, and execution across teams through principal-level technical leadership.
