Job summary

Vertafore is seeking a Director of Cloud Operations to lead a hybrid cloud platform spanning AWS and colocation data centers. You will drive reliability, scalability, automation, and governance for core infrastructure services and partner with engineering teams to enable robust SaaS delivery.

Lead a global team of engineers, champion IaC and modernization, and collaborate with SRE and security to ensure best practices and cost governance.

Qualifications

• 12+ years experience in infrastructure or platform engineering.
• Strong AWS and hybrid cloud architecture knowledge.
• Proven leadership in engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hybrid infrastructure including AWS and datacenter environments.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of core services.
• Drive automation, IaC adoption, and platform governance.
• Collaborate with SRE, Product Engineering and Information Security.
• Lead and mentor senior engineers and managers.
