Job summary

Applied Research Solutions seeks an experienced Software Developer to support a secure cloud platform delivery in Ohio. You will build platform-integrated tooling, automation, and user-facing capabilities across multiple classification tiers, enabling mission teams to onboard and operate within Government-furnished cloud enclaves.

This hands-on role requires proven cloud experience, independence from day one, and thorough documentation for formal platform delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on software development in classified or restrictive environments.
• US citizenship required and able to obtain Secret clearance.
• Active DoD 8140 Security+ certification or equivalent.
• Experience building automation/tooling for platform delivery.

Responsibilities

• Build automation tooling and scripted workflows for provisioning and onboarding.
• Develop APIs and interfaces to enable interaction with platform services.
• Ensure code aligns with enclave security requirements and STIGs.
• Produce engineering documentation and delivery artifacts for platform acceptance.
• Coordinate with DevOps and ISSE for testing, integration, and knowledge transfer.
