Job summary

Applied Research Solutions is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automation, tooling, and infrastructure that supports high-quality software delivery. The role emphasizes cloud environments, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code to enable reliable, secure, and scalable deployments.

The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, deep cloud experience, and a passion for automation and continuous improvement, with a focus on DevSecOps and secure software

Qualifications

• US citizen with Active Top Secret clearance to start (TS/SCI w/Poly preferred).
• Experience developing multi-tiered or microservice applications with at least one cloud platform (AWS/Azure/Google).
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins) and scripting.
• Strong SDLC understanding, security practices (DevSecOps), and IAM concepts.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable software delivery across environments.
• Design and manage automated infrastructure provisioning with infrastructure-as-code.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for performance and security.
• Collaborate with development, QA, security, and ops teams to streamline workflows.
• Manage cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) focusing on scalability and cost efficiency.
