Job summary

Precise Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Platform Engineer to support design, automation, deployment, and modernization of secure cloud environments for Navy and DoD capabilities.

The role emphasizes Infrastructure as Code, scripting, and AWS GovCloud engineering across enterprise and hybrid environments. It requires in-person support and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or related technical infrastructure roles.
• Experience supporting enterprise, cloud, containerized, hybrid, or application hosting environments.
• Experience using scripting and Infrastructure as Code concepts to support operations.
• Understanding of cybersecurity, hardening, vulnerability management, and secure configuration practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, automation, configuration, integration, and sustainment of secure platform environments across AWS GovCloud and hybrid architectures.
• Develop and maintain IaC to automate provisioning, configuration, deployment, and monitoring.
• Streamline platform operations with scripting to reduce manual work and support troubleshooting.
• Support secure platform operations including identity, security, logging, and automation services.
• Provide senior technical leadership and mentoring across cross-functional teams.
