Job summary

Precise Systems Inc. seeks a seasoned Platform Engineer to design, automate, deploy, integrate, sustain, and modernize secure cloud and platform environments for advanced Navy and DoD capabilities.

This role emphasizes Infrastructure as Code, scripting, AWS GovCloud engineering, and secure operations across enterprise, cloud, containerized, and hybrid environments. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, repeatable platform solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with platform engineering and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with DevOps and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with enterprise, cloud, containerized, and hybrid environments.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity and secure configuration practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support design, implementation, automation, configuration, integration, and sustainment of secure platform environments across AWS GovCloud, enterprise, containerized, and hybrid architectures.
• Develop, maintain, and improve Infrastructure as Code solutions to automate provisioning, configuration, deployment, monitoring, and sustainment of cloud and platform resources.
• Use scripting and automation to streamline platform operations and enable efficient system administration across mission environments.
• Support AWS GovCloud infrastructure development and operations by configuring, integrating, monitoring, and troubleshooting resources.
• Engineer and maintain OS, identity, authentication, networking, storage, and hosting environments for secure mission platform operations.
• Support containerized platforms and orchestration environments with deployment, scaling, monitoring, and sustainment activities.
• Apply cybersecurity and platform hardening practices with secure configuration management, vulnerability remediation, and audit-ready documentation.
