Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is building a security automation platform that protects Amazon's sensitive corporate systems. You will design and own end-to-end architectures, spanning detection pipelines, alerting platforms, and custom rule engines, with autonomy over the technical approach.

You will lead design across concurrent efforts, mentor engineers, and influence security strategy while delivering scalable, developer-facing tooling and integrated security workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience leading design or architecture of complex systems
• Experience as a mentor or tech lead

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate security automation systems on AWS
• Own architecture of detection pipelines, alerting platforms, and rule engines
• Build integrations with application security teams for automated scanning
• Lead technical design across multiple efforts and review others' work for production readiness
• Write and operationalize detection rules during code review
• Mentor engineers and communicate technical strategy to leadership
