Job summary

Leidos is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, and deliver software using Java, Python, Go, and React. You’ll work in an Agile team, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate across Jira/Confluence/Bitbucket to track work and ensure quality.

Primary responsibilities include developing maintainable code, testing, and delivering small parts of a larger system. Strong object-oriented skills and a willingness to learn new tools are essential.

Qualifications

• BS degree in computer science or related field with relevant experience.
• Experience with object oriented languages and modern frameworks.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or Go and JavaScript/React.
• Familiarity with Agile processes and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, debug software using modern languages and tools.
• Participate in full software development lifecycle within defined parameters.
• Utilize Jira/Confluence/Bitbucket for planning and collaboration.
• Create and maintain design, development, and testing documentation.
• Identify roadblocks and estimate development tasks.
• Develop automated tests and contribute to continuous delivery.
