Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Network Deployment Technician to help build and maintain a Cloud Computing Infrastructure across data centers in the Americas.

You will install and configure routers, switches and DWDM hardware, troubleshoot cabling, and coordinate colocation remote hands for new capacity installations. This role may require up to 50% travel, is based in Mesa, AZ, and offers hourly pay commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• High school or equivalent diploma.

Responsibilities

• Installation and configuration of routers, switches and DWDM hardware.
• Troubleshoot fiber optic and copper cabling, network installations and configuration.
• Coordinating colocation remote hands for new capacity installations.
• Work cross functionally with internal partners to deliver network capacity projects.
• Decommissioning of cable and network hardware in collaboration with partner teams as needed.
