Job summary

Apex is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to architect, deploy, and operate our cloud infrastructure across AWS GovCloud and Azure. You will collaborate with software, DevOps, and security teams to enforce governance, optimize spend, and deliver scalable platform capabilities.

The ideal candidate brings 5–7 years of cloud infra experience, strong IaC skills (Terraform preferred), and proven ability to run production environments securely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and operating cloud infrastructure at scale.
• Hands-on production work with AWS GovCloud and Azure.
• Strong IaC capabilities using Terraform and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS GovCloud and Azure.
• Implement secure, scalable, highly available environments using IaaS, PaaS, SaaS.
• Develop and maintain IaC with Terraform and related tools.
• Automate provisioning, configurations, deployments, monitoring, and ops tasks.
• Create scripts in Python and other languages for automation.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud issues and implement robust resolutions.
• Monitor performance, security, and reliability of cloud systems.
• Maintain cloud networking, security controls, and connectivity.
• Lead or participate in cloud projects from design to delivery.
• Document architecture, runbooks, and standards; collaborate with security team.
