Job summary

Apex Technology, Inc. is hiring a Senior Cloud Security Engineer, AWS GovCloud, to design and secure cloud environments for government and sensitive missions.

The role requires hands-on engineering in AWS GovCloud, Azure, and hybrid setups with an emphasis on compliance to NIST, FedRAMP, RMF, and DoD IL-4/IL-5. You will collaborate with DevSecOps and infrastructure teams to implement security controls, build secure CI/CD pipelines with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation), and drive secure cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Computer Science, or 5+ years’ relevant cloud security experience.
• 5–9+ years hands-on cloud security engineering in multi-cloud environments (AWS GovCloud, Azure, Google Cloud).
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain necessary clearances.

Responsibilities

• Design secure cloud architectures across AWS GovCloud, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Maintain compliance with NIST, FedRAMP, RMF, and DoD IL requirements.
• Implement IAM/RBAC, JIT access, and Zero Trust across cloud environments.
