Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Sr. Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to design, optimize, and automate our cloud infrastructure supporting major platforms. You will work with AWS and Azure, implement Terraform/Ansible, and drive security, reliability, and automation across hybrid environments.

You will mentor teammates, define deployment standards, and partner with product and applications teams to deliver scalable infrastructure solutions that power global commerce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field.
• Experience with AWS and Azure environments.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and carry-out cloud infrastructure designs in AWS and Azure to meet standards.
• Automate build/provisioning, hardening, and firewall policies.
• Partake in ownership of engineering projects, collaborating with business owners and product teams.
• Maintain installation and configuration procedures and drive automation.
• Provide cross-training and knowledge sharing to reduce single points of failure.
• Develop and enforce technical policies and procedures with management.
• Drive security/compliance for systems managed by the team.
• Improve stability and availability of infrastructure services.
• Collaborate with project managers on progress and solutions.
