Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Lancaster, TX is hiring an Operational Account Manager, Cloud Freight Operations. You will own day‑to‑day execution for high‑risk, high‑value freight supporting cloud computing customers within our domestic freight brokerage operation.

You will work with customers, Carrier Sales, carriers, and internal teams to build domestic transportation solutions balancing service, capacity, pricing, security and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, freight brokerage, account management, or related field; 5+ years preferred.
• Experience with TMS is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for cloud computing customers and develop long-term relationships.
• Manage day-to-day freight brokerage activities for assigned accounts with accurate execution.
• Coordinate movement of high‑value freight from pickup to final delivery with shipment lifecycle visibility.
• Review shipment requests to determine transportation solutions based on requirements and capacity.
• Provide pricing guidance to Carrier Sales based on market conditions and account strategy.
• Negotiate rates and service requirements with transportation carriers as appropriate.
• Monitor shipments and proactively communicate status, delays, and exceptions to customers and internal teams.
• Prepare and present customer reporting on spend, service, and performance metrics.
