Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; College degree preferred in Business Admin, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
• 3 years' experience in logistics, transportation brokerage, or related field; 5+ years preferred.
• Experience with transportation management systems (TMS)

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains customer relationships via phone, email and in-person communication.
• Negotiate rates and services with carriers and providers.
• Identify growth opportunities within house accounts and new opportunities.
• Lead customer lead generation and account development activities.
• Assess customer requests to deliver best pricing and service options.
• Handle shipment requests proactively and coordinate timelines.
• Input data into the TMS to plan and schedule movement of goods.
• Provide pricing guidelines to Carrier Sales and monitor shipments end-to-end.
• Communicate shipment status to customers and KAMs with accuracy.
• Prepare spend reports and conduct regular check-ins with customers.
