Job summary

One Call seeks a Cloud FinOps & Technology Cost Strategy Manager to own cloud financial management across multi‑cloud, SaaS, and on‑premises tech. You will lead a net‑new FinOps function, drive cost visibility, forecasting accuracy, and cost accountability with executive reporting.

You’ll work with infrastructure, software, finance, and procurement to shape the FinOps operating model and long‑term cost strategy while personally handling tooling and analytics. Remote role in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related disciplines or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of experience in technology, finance, cloud cost management, infrastructure, or FinOp, including 3+ years in a dedicated cloud financial management or FinOps capacity.
• Hands-on experience with cloud cost management platforms across at least two major public clouds (Vantage, Apptio, Cloudability, Flexera, CloudHealth, CloudZero, etc.). OCI experience advantageous.
• Experience establishing tagging standards, allocation taxonomy, and chargeback/show-back models in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with SaaS management platforms (Zylo, Productiv, Torii, etc.) or license optimization.
• FinOps Certified Practitioner required; other relevant certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cost Visibility, Allocation & Reporting: manages cloud cost platforms across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI; builds cost dashboards and executive reporting.
• Optimization & Commitment Strategy: drives cost optimization, manages commitments, and supports vendor renewals with cost benchmarking.
• Forecasting & Finance Partnership: develops cost forecasts and annual budgets; partners with Finance on variance analysis and long-range projections.
• FinOps Practice, Governance & Cost Strategy: establishes FinOps operating model and governance; promotes best practices and maturity.
