Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to provide post-sales technical support for cloud-based big data solutions. You will investigate issues spanning multiple applications, data pipelines, and repositories while helping customers successfully utilize Oracle products.

You will work primarily from a support ticket queue, communicating with customers by phone and email, managing priorities, and delivering high customer satisfaction throughout the support lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with SQL queries and data analysis.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms.
• Healthcare IT knowledge or EMR/EHR experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-sales technical support for multiple cloud-based big data applications and services.
• Investigate issues by validating data structure, movement, and integrity across processing steps and data repositories.
• Analyze complex data flows to identify defects, unexpected behavior, or data inconsistencies.
• Troubleshoot production issues by researching logs and collaborating with development teams.
• Manage a queue of customer support tickets while meeting SLA expectations.
• Communicate professionally with customers via phone and email, providing regular updates.
• Document findings and resolutions to improve future support efficiency.
• Work independently on routine issues and collaborate on complex investigations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of support processes and customer experience.
