Job summary

Oracle seeks a Technical Support Engineer to provide post-sales technical support for cloud-based big data platforms. You will investigate data processing issues across pipelines and repositories, guiding customers toward resolution.

You will manage multiple tickets, communicate updates by phone and email, and collaborate with engineering to resolve issues. A CS/IS/engineering or healthcare informatics degree and SQL experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Engineering/Healthcare Informatics or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience writing and troubleshooting SQL queries to analyze data.
• Experience supporting cloud-based applications or distributed data platforms.
• Experience supporting EMR/EHR systems or healthcare technology solutions is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-sales technical support for multiple cloud-based big data applications and services.
• Investigate customer-reported issues by validating data structure, movement, and integrity across processing steps and repositories.
• Analyze complex data flows to identify defects or inconsistencies and collaborate with engineering.
• Troubleshoot production issues by researching logs and coordinating with product teams.
• Manage a queue of customer support tickets and meet service level expectations.
• Communicate professionally with customers via phone and email, providing regular updates.
• Document findings and resolutions to improve future support efficiency.
• Work with senior engineers on complex investigations and contribute to process improvements.
