Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Senior Support Engineer to resolve complex product-data issues hindering hardware onboarding into Oracle data centers. You will serve as a technical point of contact for operations and collaborate with global manufacturing, Product Engineering, and Data Centre Operations to drive timely resolutions.

You will perform technical triage, write SQL queries, read XML/JSON, and utilize REST services; apply Python for data analysis.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, investigative, and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience writing SQL queries for investigation and data analysis.
• Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to read and interpret XML and JSON data.
• Experience with REST APIs and related data sources.
• Basic Python programming for data analysis and automation.
• Understanding of data validation and product-data quality principles.
• Familiarity with server and rack-level hardware and topology; BOM concepts.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve complex product-data issues impacting hardware onboarding into Oracle data centers.
• Monitor, prioritize, and respond to technical support tickets.
• Perform root cause analysis and determine resolution paths.
• Collaborate with global manufacturing partners to address product-data quality issues and corrective actions.
• Monitor daily manufacturing data feeds for data-quality issues.
• Write SQL queries to examine database records for investigations.
• Read and interpret XML/JSON data to identify data quality problems.
• Use REST services to retrieve, validate, and submit product data.
• Apply Python to analyze, transform, or validate data for investigations.
