Job summary

Rubrik is seeking a Senior Product Marketing professional to partner with leadership on a cloud data protection strategy and to drive GTM execution across launches and campaigns. You will craft compelling positioning, enable sales, and guide content creation that translates complex data security concepts into customer value.

Qualifications

• Education: BA/BS degree. MBA is a plus.
• 5–7 years in technology, strategy, consulting, or a marketing-related discipline.
• 2+ years in product marketing or product management.
• Experience in B2B go-to-market.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud environments is highly desirable.
• Experience in cybersecurity — ideally data security, cloud security, or data protection.
• Fluency with Claude Cowork to accelerate research, content, and GTM execution.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally and building consensus among multiple stakeholders, including senior leadership, in an entrepreneurial, high-expectation environment.
• A resourceful, action- and detail-oriented approach with a high-ownership mindset and a track record of measurable impact.

Responsibilities

• Develop and define strategy: Partner with leadership to build a comprehensive product marketing strategy for the cloud data protection solution area, aligned to overall business objectives.
• Conduct market analysis, competitive intelligence, and customer research to identify opportunities and threats.
• Product positioning: Craft compelling, differentiated positioning and messaging that resonates with target buyers, emphasizing Rubrik's cyber resilience capabilities across cloud.
• Go-to-market (GTM) execution: Own and execute GTM plans for launches and campaigns in your solution area including sales enablement, promotional campaigns, and competitive positioning.
• Content and communications: Produce high-impact content and assets — core collateral, thought leadership, whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, webinars, presentations, and sales plays — that translate complex technical concepts into clear customer benefits. Use AI tools to accelerate research and content production.
• Competitive and analyst positioning: Maintain deep competitive intelligence and support analyst engagements to strengthen Rubrik's position in the cloud data protection landscape.
• Cross-functional partnership: Work closely with sales, sales enablement, product management, customer marketing, field marketing, partner marketing, and demand generation to align on objectives, share insights, and drive cohesive strategies.
