Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Data Center Technician to help maintain the world's leading cloud infrastructure. You will perform server rack installations, hardware repairs, and network troubleshooting to ensure high availability for AWS services.

This role requires flexible scheduling, on-call rotation, and travel between data centers as needed. You will collaborate with engineers, vendors, and contractors while adhering to safety and process standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hardware troubleshooting experience.
• 2+ years of computer layer 1/2 networking experience.
• Willing to work weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform server rack installations and hardware repairs.
• Troubleshoot network issues and respond to incidents.
• Carry out routine network, server hardware, and OS repairs.
• Serve as primary point of contact with engineers, vendors, and contractors.
• Participate in on-call duties and maintenance activities.
