Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Data Center Technician to support the reliability of AWS global infrastructure. You will perform server rack installations, hardware breaks, and network troubleshooting while coordinating with engineers, vendors, and contractors.

The role requires on-call duties, 24/7 support, and the ability to travel between data center sites as needed. Training periods and relocation stipends may be provided; AWS offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of computer/server hardware troubleshooting experience.
• 2+ years of computer layer 1/2 networking (including troubleshooting and repair).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform server rack installations and hardware break-fix; diagnose networks and repair components.
• Serve as primary contact for engineers, vendors, and contractors.
• Participate in on-call duties and scheduled maintenance/change management.
