Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Technician to support global cloud infrastructure.

You will perform server rack installations, hardware break-fix, and network diagnostics across AWS data centers, with on-call rotation and travel to multiple sites. You will work with hardware, software, and network engineers, participate in maintenance and change management, and contribute to documentation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of computer/server hardware troubleshooting experience.
• 2+ years of computer layer 1/2 networking experience.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform server rack installations and hardware break-fix on components.
• Troubleshoot network issues and respond to operational incidents.
• Serve as primary contact for engineers, vendors, and contractors.
• Participate in on-call duties and scheduled maintenance.
• Contribute to documentation and process improvements.
