Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a Customer Engineer for Data Analytics focused on startups across New York, Atlanta, and other major US cities. You will partner with the technical sales team to differentiate Google Cloud and translate business needs into data-driven cloud solutions.

You will work with data warehousing, ETL, and real-time processing concepts, presenting to executives and guiding architecture design. Travel to client sites is expected.

Qualifications

• This role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience presenting to technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
• Strong ability to own outcomes and drive decisions in ambiguous situations.

Responsibilities

• Support local sales teams in pursuit of key business opportunities and address data lifecycle aspects.
• Identify business and technical requirements, conduct technical discovery, and architect client solutions.
• Manage technical projects including advocacy, bid responses, proofs-of-concept, and coordinating resources.
• Work with Google Cloud Platform products to demonstrate integrations in customer environments; travel as needed.
• Prepare and deliver product messaging to highlight Google Cloud value using demos, white papers, and RFIs.
