Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to support regional sales teams and architect data-centric client solutions. You will engage technical stakeholders and executives to translate requirements into scalable cloud architectures.

You will lead technical discovery, build proofs of concept, and deliver compelling product demonstrations across customer environments. Travel may be required to deliver onsite engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience as a sales engineer or technical consultant in cloud computing or customer-facing roles.
• Experience presenting to technical stakeholders and executive leaders.

Responsibilities

• Support local sales teams in pursuit of key business opportunities and engage customers on data lifecycle.
• Identify business/technical requirements, conduct discovery, and architect client solutions.
• Manage technical projects including bid responses, product briefings, POC work, and coordinating resources.
• Demonstrate and prototype GCP integrations in customer/partner environments and travel as needed.
• Prepare product messaging to highlight Google Cloud value using whiteboards, demos, and RFIs.
