Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a Practice Customer Engineer with a Data Analytics specialty to accelerate technical wins for complex workloads. You will partner with technical sales teams to differentiate Google Cloud to customers and design data foundation architectures and MVPs to sell highly specialized solutions.

This role serves US public sector customers, including education and government, helping them transform with data analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing role.
• Experience engaging with technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
• Experience with Big Data technologies (analytics warehousing, data processing, data governance, SQL, Spark).
• Experience using programming languages to design demos or workshops for customers.
• Experience with data warehousing, data lakes, streaming and governance on cloud native architectures.

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical win for complex workloads within data analytics to ensure rapid adoption.
• Combine business strategies and prototyping to provide customer-tailored solutions.
• Provide deep technical consultation to customers as a technical advisor.
• Leverage learnings to contribute to reusable solutions with the Go-To-Market team.
• Provide feedback to product and engineering to improve architectures and document requests.
