Job summary

Google Cloud role in Los Angeles area seeks a Practice Customer Engineer with a focus on Data Analytics to accelerate adoption of complex workloads. You will partner with technical sales, design data foundation architectures, and develop MVPs to demonstrate value to customers.

You will present to technical stakeholders, translate requirements into practical solutions, and work with Platform CEs to drive adoption while feeding product improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
• Experience with Big Data technologies or concepts (analytics warehousing, data processing, data governance, ETL/ELT, SQL, Spark).
• Experience engaging with technical stakeholders or executive leaders.
• Experience using programming languages (Python, Spark, SQL) to demo or prototype with customers.

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical win for complex workloads within Data Analytics to support the sales cycle.
• Provide functional, customer-tailored solutions to secure buy-in from customer domain experts.
• Offer deep technical consultation as a trusted advisor and build lasting relationships.
• Contribute to reusable solutions and assets with the Go-To-Market team.
• Feedback customer engagements to Product and Engineering to improve architectures and solutions.
