Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Cloud Configuration Management Specialist to support an IT Service Management effort for USTRANSCOM located at Scott Air Force Base (AFB) in Illinois. The role focuses on CM for cloud environments, lifecycle management of CIs, and collaboration with the TCJ6 Directorate to enable modernization of infrastructure and applications.

Ideal candidates will have DoD program experience, active DoD Secret clearance, and hands-on AWS GovCloud exposure with CloudFormation.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required and DoD experience preferred.
• Ten+ years of related experience and active DoD Secret Clearance.
• One of the listed IAT Level II certifications is required.
• AWS Cloud Practitioner (CE) certification is required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Apply configuration management to cloud environments.
• Support DoD programs and enterprise CM practices.
• Use CM tools for complex projects and manage CIs lifecycle.
• Develop design/change artifacts for CM processes and SOPs.
• Interact with high level customers and participate in planning.
• Support deployments to AWS GovCloud and related services.
• Participate in sprint cycles and backlog grooming.
