SAIC invites applications for a Cloud Architect to support USTRANSCOM at Scott Air Force Base, IL. The role emphasizes technical leadership in cloud solution architectures that improve security, scalability, and resiliency across complex environments.

The successful candidate will design, migrate, and operate multi-cloud and hybrid setups while ensuring compliance with DoD Cloud Computing policies. Strong scripting, DevOps practices, and experience with AWS, Azure, and ITSM tooling are essential.

Formación

• The candidate must have an active DoD Secret Clearance and a strong cloud background.
• Experience designing and deploying cloud solutions for government or DoD environments.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS, Azure, and security best practices for cloud architectures.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical leadership for cloud solution architectures focused on security and scalability.
• Plan and manage migration, re-platforming, and operation of complex cloud environments.
• Develop and implement security processes aligned with DoD guidelines.
• Evaluate new cloud technologies to enhance capabilities and efficiency.
• Assist with ITSM tool usage and DevOps automation and scripting.
