Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Cloud Configuration Management Specialist to support an IT Service Management effort for USTRANSCOM located at Scott Air Force Base (AFB) in Illinois.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the IT Service Management (ITSM) Configuration Management process to identify, track, and manage the baseline Configuration Items (CIs) in an enterprise environment through their lifecycle for the Cloud team.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Ten (10) years or more experience.
• BA/BS degree.
• Interacting with clients, providing cloud support, and making recommendations based on client needs.
• Exposure to cloud formation templates.

Responsibilities

• Experience with applying configuration management to cloud environments.
• Experience with supporting DoD programs.
• Experience with using configuration management tools for complex projects.
• Knowledge of systems engineering processes and milestones.
• Ability to develop engineering design and change artifacts to facilities configuration management processes.
• Experience organizing technical knowledge bases.
• Understanding standardized documentation and meeting customer requirements.
