Job summary

SAIC is seeking an Information Systems Assessment and Authorization analyst for the Cloud team to support an IT Service Management effort for USTRANSCOM located at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. The role involves developing authorization documentation, risk assessments, and CSAM-based monitoring to ensure security of critical DoD systems.

The ideal candidate will perform high-visibility tasks with some oversight, coordinating ST&E reviews, IPA/PIA work, and contingencies while leveraging AWS

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience with a BS degree.
• DoD Secret clearance or higher.
• IAT Level II certifications such as Security+, CECCNA-Security, CySA+; GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate all authorization documentation including Systems Categorization, System Security Plan, and System risk assessment.
• Support control assessment, reporting and monitoring using CSAM.
• Create and maintain all minor/major modification documentation.
• Maintain waivers and risk assessments for the ISSMs.
• Assist the ISSMs with security decisions affecting systems and networks.
• Prepare for Contingency/Incident response assessments.
• Perform and document risk assessments and analyze vulnerabilities.
