BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking an Assistant Closing Manager to lead end-of-day operations across Recovery, Utility and Perishable departments. You will supervise closing tasks, coach teams, and ensure gold-standard service and safety compliance.

The role requires ServSafe certification, strong leadership, and a focus on training, audits, and cross-department collaboration to drive club performance.

Qualifications

• Retail or supermarket perishable operations experience preferred.
• SERV Safe certification required.
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own end-of-day execution for Recovery, Utility, and Perishable departments.
• Lead closing shifts and coach Recovery and Utility Clerks.
• Ensure GOLD standards and member experience during closing.
• Coach onboarding and certifications; ensure safety and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with Club Managers and Department Leads to improve routines.
