Job summary

Trader Interactive is seeking a Closing Advocate to support the closing team as deals progress from contract to closing in Sarasota. You will own titles, lien releases, and DMV work, coordinating with banks, DMV offices, and third-party vendors to keep deals on track.

Responsibilities include obtaining titles, preparing DMV work, and ensuring documents are complete for DMV submission, while maintaining meticulous records and timely follow-ups with banks and offices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in account management, sales operations, or titling.
• Strong attention to detail in DMV paperwork, titles, and lien releases.
• Highly organized with ability to manage many deals and documents.
• Proactive follow-up with banks and DMV offices to flag delays.
• Professional communication by phone and email with banks, vendors, and teams.
• Thorough record keeping with every call, email, and update.
• Comfortable with technology, scanning, downloading, and using Google products.
• Ability to work on-site and drop-offs at Sarasota Tax Office.
• Flexible to support time-sensitive deals outside standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Help Closing Advocates obtain titles and lien releases.
• Prepare DMV work for the closing team and review for accuracy.
• Confirm all required documents are available before DMV submission.
• Make daily calls to banks to check status of titles and lien releases.
• Review deals waiting on banks to ensure no delinquent titles or liens.
• Print electronic titles after lien release is faxed to the DMV.
• Drop off DMV work at the Sarasota Tax Office and track status.
• Review DMV documents to ensure title work is complete, then prepare packets.
• Support with duplicate title requests by contacting DMVs.
• Send USCG paperwork by fax or email.
• Notarize documents for the closing team when needed.
• Assist the Closing Quality Control Admin with completion packets.
• Open incoming USPS mail, match titles to deals, update notes, move deals stages.
