Job summary

Angel City VA is seeking a Business Development Associate to drive end-to-end pipeline development in the clinical research lifecycle. You will identify and qualify trial opportunities, aligning them with capabilities and priorities for downstream feasibility and contracting teams.

You will maintain an opportunity tracker, perform structured due diligence, assess study feasibility, and match investigators/patient populations while monitoring market trends and developing tailored outreach

Qualifications

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and G-Suite.
Strong analytical and detail-oriented capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience translating data into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop clinical trial opportunities; maintain a real-time opportunity tracker.
Conduct due diligence on Sponsors/CROs: financials, strategy, pipeline depth.
Assess study feasibility: therapeutic alignment, product type, phases.
Match investigators and patient populations; map ICD diagnoses.
Monitor therapeutic trends; produce insights and pipeline reports.
Develop tailored outreach strategies for Sponsors and CROs.
Identify decision-makers and maintain structured contact databases.
Adhere to SOPs and ensure audit-ready documentation.
