Job summary

Advocate Health's NCCT is seeking a Business Development Manager to advance the clinical trials portfolio by identifying and securing opportunities with industry sponsors. The role requires collaboration with leadership across clinical, operational, and administrative functions to drive growth and visibility.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in business development or sales within the clinical trial space, experience with CRM systems, and strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or sales support roles.
• Experience in a matrixed organization delivering clinical trial solutions and using CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage with potential industry partners to expand NCCT’s clinical trial opportunities.
• Develop and maintain a robust pipeline from initial contact through contract execution.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with NCCT leadership, researchers, legal, finance, and compliance teams.
• Lead proposal development, including negotiations, presentations, and pitch materials.
• Foster long-term relationships with sponsors and CROs, seeking repeat or expanded engagement.
• Track KPIs related to business development activities.
