Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Clinical Trial Manager for a Full-Service role in the United States. You will oversee site management, monitoring, and data integrity, coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet trial milestones. Strong leadership, risk management, and GCP expertise are required.

The role involves collaboration with investigators and study teams, oversight of CTMS/dashboards, and training delivery to ensure protocol adherence and timely study execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or RN in a related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Proven ability to lead and align teams to achieve project milestones.
• Experience working in an international environment.
• Expertise in site management and monitoring (clinical or central).
• Knowledge of risk-based monitoring approaches.
• Understanding of clinical trial management financial principles and budgets.
• Strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practice/ICH guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Good computer skills and data handling.
• Strong conflict resolution and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to ~20%

Responsibilities

• Lead site management oversight, clinical monitoring and central monitoring with focus on patient safety and data integrity.
• Review study scope, budget, and protocol; ensure CRAs/CeMs are aware of obligations; identify risks and escalate as needed.
• Propose risk mitigations and participate in key meetings.
• Act as escalation point for investigator site communications and accompany teams when needed.
• Coordinate delivery handoffs with functional leaders to meet milestones (site activation, enrollment, database lock).
• Develop and maintain study tools and templates, including the Clinical Monitoring Plan; ensure CTMS and dashboards are available and audited.
• Coordinate initial and ongoing training for the study team on protocol specifics, CRF, dashboards, SOPs and data plans.
• Oversee resourcing allocations for CRAs and Central Monitors, site assignments and progress visibility via tracking tools.
• Review trial systems dashboards (CTMS, EDC, ePROs, TMF, IVRS/IWRS) to ensure timely data updates.
• Mentor CTMs, provide feedback on performance, and support risk management and issue resolution.
