Inova Fairfax Hospital – Physical Rehab in Falls Church, VA is seeking a Clinical Technician 2 to join the team. The role supports direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, with day and night rotations and weekend/holiday coverage.

The position emphasizes clear communication, professionalism, and teamwork across the healthcare system. A High School diploma, 1 year as a Clinical Technician or nursing rotations, and BLS are required or obtained within 90 days.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year working as a Clinical Technician or completed acute care clinical rotations and currently enrolled in a nursing program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association, or within 90 days of hire.
• Proficient verbal and written communication in English.

This schedule for this role will be Full -Time | Rotations: Days & Nights | 6AM-6:30PM & 6PM-6:30AM | Days Vary | Rotating weekends & holidays |

Clinical Technician 2 – Job Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurse.
• Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.
• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.
• Training: Must be available six (6) for non-consecutive weeks of paid training, consisting of:
  • Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM)
  • Virtual training modules.
  • Classroom-style sessions: 8AM 4:30PM (6 shifts total)
  • On-unit shifts
• May perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1 year working as a Clinical Technician; or completed an acute care clinical rotations, and actively enrolled in a nursing program
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American HeartAssociation, or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
