Job summary

Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, VA is seeking a Clinical Technician to join the Medical Surgical team for a full-time night shift (6:00 PM–6:30 AM) with rotating days, weekends and holidays. You will provide direct patient care under RN supervision, communicate clearly with patients and staff, and help maintain a compassionate, professional environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year as Clinical Technician or related in an acute care setting, or completed acute care clinical rotation.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Proficient verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to lift minimum of 35 lbs.

Inova Fairfax Hospital – Medical Surgical is looking for a dedicated Clinical Technician to join the team.

This schedule for this role will be Full-time | Nights| 6:00PM – 6:30AM | Rotating days, weekends & holidays |

Training

6 Classroom-style sessions located in Falls Church VA: 8AM – 4:30PM

1 Virtual Orientation Day: 9AM – 4:30PM

1 Virtual EPIC Training: 8AM – 4:30PM

Training dates are pre-set and non-negotiable; recruitment team will share further information.

• Current Inova Clinical Technicians & rehires under 1 year are exempt from CTA.

Your first week will be a required Monday – Friday schedule – regardless of your positions normal schedule.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1 year working as a Clinical Technician/related in an acute care setting; or completing acute care clinical rotation with an accredited nursing program.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
