Inova Health System seeks a Clinical Technician at Inova Fair Oaks Hospital - Perianesthesia to join the care team. This PRN role supports RN-directed patient care in a fast-paced setting and emphasizes safety and professionalism.

The position requires a high school diploma, BLS certification, and approximately 1 year of acute care experience or clinical rotation. Training is provided; weekend and holiday schedules are not required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of Clinical Technician experience in acute care or completion of acute care clinical rotation.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Proficient verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 35 lbs.

• Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.
• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.

This schedule for this role will be PRN | Days | 10Hrs: 8AM, 9AM, 9:30AM starts | No weekends or holidays |

Training:

• Clinical Technician Academy (CTA):
• 6 Classroom-style sessions located in Falls Church VA: 8AM - 4:30PM
• 1 Virtual Orientation Day: 9AM - 4:30PM
• 1 Virtual EPIC Training: 8AM - 4:30PM

Training dates are pre-set and non-negotiable; recruitment team will share further information.

Current Inova Clinical Technicians & rehires under 1 year are exempt from CTA.

Your first week will be a required Monday - Friday schedule - regardless of your positions normal schedule.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education : High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience : 1 year working as a Clinical Technician/related in an acute care setting; or completing acute care clinical rotation with an accredited nursing program.
• Certification : Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Special Skills : Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• Physical Requirements : Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
