Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, VA is seeking a Clinical Technician 1 to join the ICU – Neuro team for full-time night shifts. The role involves direct patient care under RN supervision, clear communication with staff and patients, and upholding professional standards.

Training is provided, with a 6-week ongoing program. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma and BLS certification or the ability to obtain within 90 days.

Qualificações

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to lift minimum of 35 lbs.

Clinical Technician 1 – Job Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurses.
• Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.
• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.
• May perform additional duties as assigned

Training

Must be available for six (6) non-consecutive weeks of paid training, consisting of:

• Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM)
• Classroom-style sessions: 8AM – 4:30PM (6 shifts total)
• Virtual training modules.
• On-unit shifts

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
