Job summary

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital – Medical is seeking a dedicated Clinical Technician 1 to join the team. The role is full-time nights 7:00PM–7:30AM with days varying and rotating weekends/holidays.

You will provide direct care under RN supervision and communicate effectively with the care team to support patient safety and comfort. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED/HSE and BLS certification (or obtained within 90 days).

• Proficient verbal and written communication in English.
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent (GED/HSE).
• BLS certification required or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurses.

• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.

Clinical Technician – Job Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurses.
• Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.
• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.

Training

• Must be available for six (6) non-consecutive weeks of paid training, consisting of:
• Virtual orientations (Two from 8AM -4:30PM)
• Classroom-style sessions: 8AM – 4:30PM (6 shifts total)
• Virtual training modules.
• On-unit shifts

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
