Overview

The Clinical Support Services Associate I (CSSA1) will perform duties across Logistics, Patient Transport, Hospitality Lounge, and Entryway Services based on Epic task request volume, ensuring efficient support for Clinical Support Services and Hospitality workloads. Responsibilities include distributing medical equipment throughout the CFH campus, facilitating patient throughput, and assisting patients and guests with wayfinding. The role requires demonstrating high customer service commitment and supporting patient care operations through safe transport of patients, guests, equipment, and specimens. Additional duties involve assisting with Uber Health rides, visitor management, and ensuring safety and efficiency in patient handling.

Responsibilities

1. Safely assist with moving patients onto transport devices and transport them to designated destinations.
2. Respond appropriately to emergency situations involving patient transport.
3. Properly use, store, and clean medical equipment.
4. Receive dispatch for transport assignments independently and gather necessary equipment.
5. Complete assignments within designated timeframes, meeting department productivity standards.
6. Distribute medical equipment to and from CFH departments as scheduled.
7. Perform basic maintenance on medical equipment, including sanitizing and assessing needs for repairs or replacements.
8. Float between CSS and Hospitality departments as needed to maintain workflow efficiency.
9. Collaborate with leadership on project tasks across CSS departments.
10. Assist with patient and visitor flow in Entryway Services, including transport, wayfinding, and Visitor Management System.
11. Serve as a Safe Patient Handling resource, demonstrating expertise in patient transport and safety equipment.

Compensation and Benefits
