Overview

The Clinical Support Services Associate I (CSSA1) will float between Logistics, Patient Transport, Hospitality Lounge, and Entryway Services based on volume of Epic task requests to efficiently support the Clinical Support Services (CSS and Hospitality) workload. Responsibilities include distributing medical equipment across the CFH campus, optimizing patient throughput, and assisting patients and guests with wayfinding. The role requires demonstrating high commitment and customer service, performing safe transport of patients, guests, equipment, and specimens, and supporting various departmental needs.

Responsibilities

1. Assist with moving patients onto transport devices and transport them safely to designated destinations.
2. Respond appropriately to emergency situations during patient transport.
3. Use, store, and clean equipment properly.
4. Receive dispatches for transport assignments and prepare necessary equipment.
5. Complete assignments within designated timeframes, meeting department productivity standards.
6. Distribute medical equipment to and from CFH departments as scheduled.
7. Perform basic maintenance on medical equipment, including sanitizing and repairs, and assess needs for replacement or additional equipment.
8. Float between CSS and Hospitality departments based on workload needs.
9. Collaborate with leadership on project tasks for CSS departments.
10. Assist with patient/visitor flow in Entryway Services, including transport, wayfinding, and Visitor Management System duties.
11. Act as a Safe Patient Handling resource, specializing in patient transport and safety equipment.

Compensation and Benefits
