Position Overview

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for all clinical aspects of treatment for the patients they oversee, including assessment, treatment planning, implementation oversight, caregiver collaboration, and training of behavioral technicians.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Use clinical judgment to promote optimal outcomes for each patient
  • Develop and maintain treatment plans, updating at least once per month
  • Ensure 100% treatment adherence in all supervision hours each month
  • Evaluate patients for skill deficits and strengths, identify function of challenging behaviors, and design functionally relevant plans to reduce them
  • Observe and review treatment implementation for program revisions, monitor treatment integrity, and provide coaching and training to technicians
  • Work onsite to support technicians and conduct best‑practice direct observation
  • Summarize and analyze data to evaluate progress toward treatment goals, adjusting protocols based on data
  • Fulfill a minimum of 120 payor/client‑authorized billable hours per month (including supervisory and therapy hours)
  • Maintain a caseload of at least 10 patients
  • Communicate treatment response to stakeholders (caregivers, payers)
  • Coordinate care with internal and external professionals
  • Administer, complete, and score standardized assessments
  • Include caregivers in treatment team via consistent collaboration meetings
  • Engage with payors for funding meetings and support
  • Stay up to date on ABA best practices and maintain clinical excellence
  • Maintain accurate documentation in Skills and the patient’s medical record
  • Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for all parties
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA requirements at all times
  • Partner consistently with center and company leadership
  • Adhere to work schedules, attend meetings, and meet deadlines consistently
Requirements
  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field
  • Certification as a Behavior Analyst from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
  • Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Reliable transportation with proof of auto insurance when necessary
  • Pass a tuberculosis test

Work Environment

Treatment may occur in homes, the CARD center, schools, community settings, or via telehealth. Supervisors work indoors and outdoors, moving between locations throughout the day, potentially in loud or noisy environments.

Physical Requirements
  • Operate technology such as computers, laptops, iPads, cameras, and phones
  • Work with patients seated on the floor, in chairs, or in various settings
  • Move frequently to gather materials and support patients
  • Assist patients physically (bending, kneeling, crouching, lifting up to 30 lbs.)
  • Track patient movement visually and respond to aggressive behaviors when necessary
  • Teach patients vocal speech and modeling of gross and fine motor skills
  • Work in various weather conditions outdoors
