AHN’s Heritage Valley Beaver unit seeks a full-time Nursing Administrator to support Nursing Administration. The role rotates shifts, weekends, and holidays, coordinating clinical services and acting as on-site administrator during off shifts and weekends.
The candidate must hold PA RN licensure with at least three years of supervised clinical experience, ACLS, and PALS/NRP where required. BSN preferred; cross-campus duties are not required for this assignment.

Work Hours: This full-time 72 hour position, rotating shifts, weekends and holidays as required. Cross-campus responsibilities are not required for this assignment.
This position has shift accountability in assisting the Manager in providing high quality, cost effective patient care, through the appropriate, direct management of human and fiscal resources. Primary responsibility includes the coordination of department clinical services. Collaboration with other departments is essential. This position functions as the on-site administrative representative during “off shifts”, holidays and weekends.
Requirements
This position requires current Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse, a minimum of three years clinical experience in the clinical area that they supervise and demonstrated expert clinical and leadership skills, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. ACLS is required. PALS and NRP certification is required for Maternal Child Health. PALS is required for PACU.
Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
Preferred
B.S.N. or Bachelors degree in a health care related field and prior hospital management experience. Applicable clinical/administration certification is desirable.
